For the past 17 years, I have been defending cases for insurance companies and corporations in the State and Federal Courts of Georgia. Basically, my job was to get the case thrown out of Court with legal arguments, settle the case for as little as possible, or if there was a trial, to minimize the Plaintiff’s recovery or see that they lost. I have learned a lot from this work! I have also had many years of representing injured Plaintiffs. I know these cases from both sides of the table. I have a Martindale Hubbell AV rating. This is their highest rating.

On December 1, 2018, I started my own law firm. My focus is on using my experience and knowledge to help ordinary people and families who have been injured by the negligence of other people or companies.

• Appelrouth v. Forsyth County
  In this case, the Georgia Supreme Court reversed 22 Georgia Court of Appeals cases and changed the way governmental immunity is handled.

• Cason vs. Seckinger, U.S. District Court Middle District of Georgia
  Detailed sexual contact and harassment Consent Orders were signed by the Federal Judge. I represented the State Defendants in this class action. There were many allegations by the inmates of sexual misconduct and much media coverage.
