Paul W. Bobowiec, Attorney

Paul W. Bobowiec was born in Palmer, Massachusetts. He received his Master ofScience degree in Systems Engineering Science from the Naval Postgraduate Schoolin Monterey, California, and his law degree from The George WashingtonUniversity Law School in Washington, D.C. While on duty with the United StatesNavy, Mr. Bobowiec acquired a broad experience in electronic and softwaresystems, lectured at the U.S. Naval Academy in engineering, and held importantpositions such as lead electronic and software systems engineer and chief systemintegration engineer for government and government contractor systems.

Upon his discharge from the military, Mr. Bobowiec continued to work in theengineering field and acted as principal engineer for systems and software atComptek Corp. in Arlington, Virginia, where he engineered integration solutionsfor various government and industrial projects, helped develop software metricsand prototype evaluation technics, and worked on proposals for governmentcontracts.

Mr. Bobowiec's legal training focused on intellectual property. He has workedas an intern in the Office of Legislative and International Affairs at the U.S.Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Washington, D.C., where he preparedbriefs on foreign and domestic intellectual property laws and analyzed materialfor USPTO-sponsored symposia highlighting state sovereignty and business methodpatents. More recently, Mr. Bobowiec worked as an associate attorney with thelaw firm of Antonelli, Terry, Stout and Kraus in Arlington, Virginia.

Mr. Bobowiec is admitted to the New Jersey and Maryland Bars and also isadmitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
